We Are the World demo cassettes sent to artists

Demo cassettes of “We Are the World” are sent to artists invited to take part in the recording.

The demos help align a large group of performers before the main recording session. The project depends on rapid coordination, with many artists being gathered in Los Angeles around the American Music Awards.

This event should eventually include a list of invited artists, demo contents and any surviving notes from the USA for Africa organising process.
