ABC released

The Jackson 5’s second LP ABC, released by Motown, would enter the US Black albums chart and the Pop albums chart, peaking at number one on the former (held for twelve of its twenty-five-week residence) and number four on the latter (50-week chart run). The album spawns two hit singles — “ABC” and “The Love You Save” — and goes on to sell over a million copies.
