Victory released

Victory, the fifth studio album by The Jacksons, is released by Epic Records. The album arrives between Michael Jackson’s Thriller and Bad eras and becomes the final Jacksons studio album to feature Michael as a full member.

The album is closely tied to the huge Victory Tour, although the tour setlist mostly favours Jacksons classics and Michael solo material rather than songs from the album itself.

Its most visible single is “State of Shock”, a duet between Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger.
