Motown releases a set of Jackson 5 CD collections, with The Michael Jackson Anthology standing out among the archive releases.

The release shows Motown continuing to repackage early Jackson material while Michael is between Thriller and Bad. The older catalogue remains commercially active even as Michael’s Epic-era image dominates the press.
