“I Just Can’t Stop Loving You” released as single

“I Just Can’t Stop Loving You” is released as the first single from Bad, introducing the album campaign before the title track and short-film rollout.

The duet with Siedah Garrett gives the project a softer opening move than the more aggressive visual language that would follow with “Bad”, “The Way You Make Me Feel” and the world tour. It also establishes the album’s central late-1987 sequence: single release, video exposure, chart movement and tour launch.
