Prince

Prince Rogers Nelson (7 June 1958 – 21 April 2016), known by his mononym Prince, was an American singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He emerged as Michael Jackson’s closest contemporary rival in the 1980s following his 1984 album and film Purple Rain. Famously, Prince declined Quincy Jones’s and Michael’s offer to duet on the title track of Bad in 1987 (later released by Michael as a solo recording).
