Epic announces Bad album completion

Epic announces that Michael Jackson’s new album Bad has been completed and will be released on 31 August 1987 across LP, cassette and CD formats.

Grant notes that eight of the ten album songs, plus the CD bonus track “Leave Me Alone”, are written by Michael, with Quincy Jones producing and Bruce Swedien engineering. The announcement formalises the end of the long wait for the follow-up to Thriller.
