Michael visits Brotman Memorial Hospital burn centre
Michael visits the Burn Center at Brotman Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles to cheer up patients. This is one of the stranger-looking timeline entries because it takes place before the Pepsi commercial accident, not after it.
The date is nevertheless supported by more than one source. Adrian Grant places the visit on 10 January 1984, Thriller 40 describes the irony of the visit coming just before Michael became a burn patient himself, and US House Resolution 600 later cited the same date as part of a chronology of Jackson’s charitable work.
After the Pepsi accident on 27 January 1984, Michael was treated for scalp burns and later donated his Pepsi compensation money towards the Michael Jackson Burn Center.
